Overall I really like this treadmill. My previous treadmill was a 1hp model which couldn't cope with my daily workouts. The Everfit machine not only handles my requirements with ease but also has a good range of pre-programmed modes or self selection.
The only issue is the handrail height. Although I am only 1.78m tall I cannot reach the handrail whilst walking, which makes it difficult to maintain balance. The height seems tailored to child height rather than adults and would only be solved if I chose to walk on my knees (I've been married so I know how to do this).
I came up with a simple solution to the problem by adding an inclined handrail extension with a U-Bolt (only took about 15 minutes to make and fit). This simple fix allows the treadmill to be used by anyone regardless of height. I have attached 2 photos which show this extension piece.
I would suggest this solution to anyone who encounters the same problem as the Everfit Treadmill is great apart from this. And it's in the name... "Everfit". It should "fit" every user.
