It's a pretty small unit which is why we got it for a bedroom, but it's really good for the price.
It doesn't have an ionizer, which is probably a good thing because there's a lot of evidence those create overall more respiratory irritation. It doesn't have a charcoal filter, which is fine, because those serve a different purpose - absorbing gases and smells - whereas the hepa style filter in this is what filters out the particles, which would include dust, smoke, droplets that may spread virus etc.
