Unlike the previous two novels, this is books is more self-contained.
The entire story is set in one location, and does not directly feature elements from preceding novels in the series.
However, it is a chapter in the overall Jack West series, and should be treated as such.
Also recommended to read the Shane Schofield Scarecrow series beforehand.
