The oil is pleasant to the touch and not overly greasy. It, unfortunately, does not have the aromatherapy scent aspect that I was expecting. It has a strange, almost nutty scent to it - not the expected lavender. So, I would not recommend this product to anyone that may desire the therapeutic effects of lavender. If you are just looking for a decent massage oil, this is definitely adequate.
