This is the best book I've read so far on PTSD. It's extremely thorough and comprehensive and there's so many amazing quotes and insights. But it's a tough read. Pretty much every chapter could come with a trigger warning. I only read it in short bursts and have breaks in between and pick it up again when I'm feeling more relaxed and positive. But I've learnt so much about why I feel and behave the way I do and it ultimately inspired me to get some support so it is well worth persevering with.
