To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Easily one of the worst books I've ever read. Every story somewhat replicates each other. And the worst part is all the editorial comments from Virginia Hamlon Grohl. Her self-righteous domentation that there "are only a few musically gifted children in every school" is such a farce. There are at least 90% of kids that have this. And the fact that she says that the reason they became "rock stars" is because they and their families worked so hard and they were so gifted is ludicrous. There are thousands of much more talented and hard working musicians that are living today and in the past that have not become "become rock stars" because ultimately, like everything else in life- it is based mostly on luck and being in the right place at the right time. Don't waste your time on this self-congratulatory book of emptiness.
