slow burning legal thriller

Favourite authors are such because when you begin a new book, you get transported to a comforting space engrossed in a new familiarity. John Grisham is one such story teller and The Judges List is the second Lacy Stoltz saga. This time, a woman with many aliases makes a startling accusation that one of Florida’s favourite judges is a murderer but not only that, a serial killer with numerous victims spanning twenty years. The problem is there is no hard evidence or even connection between the various crimes. With circumstantial evidence and coincidence, the Florida Board on Judicial Conduct investigates. So begins the narrative of a slow burning legal thriller with all the Grishman hallmarks and a five-star read raring.
