It's a good quality book, but with less pages than I thought. Printed concisely and clearly, in black serif font with the answers in the back. The only flaw is the blandness; it's a long, plain and boring list. No pictures. No anecdotes. Lines and text only, with a deceivingly colourful cover.

Some riddles are like Christmas cracker jokes and some are quite tricky maths problems, that kept the well educated adults in the family guessing. Should be Pitched at the 11+ age range to tie in more with the curriculum. Otherwise nice design and feel.

The riddles are good and at a good level for my 10 year old. As it is for kids I would expect it to be broken up a bit with illustrations, cartoons, visual riddles etc. Not it is all in a very plain text which looks a bit cheap and the quality of the publication is also very basic. Almost like a school copy book. So it got very worn looking very quick.
