I had my suspicions.
I was correct about one person in the story but not quite overall.
Great mystery. Great Author!
Don’t miss out on this one.

3.0 out of 5 starsNot a Psychological Thriller to me
Reviewed in Australia on 24 February 2022
I started this and thought it would be a good start to KL Slater's books but was disappointed. I had been told the end is exciting so kept reading thinking it must be different to what I had thought I had figured out.
I also thought that the daughter Tansy was portrayed as a lot older than her 6 years - more like 11 or 12 to me.
I have a couple more of her books as samples and will maybe try another one later but despite a good plot not well executed. Being her 1st her others may improve.

1.0 out of 5 stars Certainly not a gripping thriller

Slow and clunky read. Far too much detail that was unnecessary.I could only read 30% of this until I just scanned to the end so that I could move on to another book. I won't be bothering with any more from this author sorry.

Having read the reviews I thought this might be a great read….a real page turner.
How wrong was I ….I found this book so lame and unlikely and will not be reading any more of this author’s books.
If you enjoy mills and boons then this book will probably be for you.

Predictable clunky story line with an abrupt and unbelievable ending, really not gripping or thrilling at all I'm afraid, don't bother

1.0 out of 5 stars the book fell apart

The book itself was very good. However as I would read a page it fell out of the book. Very hard to read like that! The book is a total mess. I have never had this happen before and I usually read 2 books a week.
I have many of K.L. Slaters books and nothing like that ever happened.
