I was excited about the tin for the game so that I wouldn’t have to worry about a cheap cardboard box wearing out. However, these blocks don’t make a perfect square when crisscrossing them. This makes setting up the game take way longer than the Jenga set

I was happy with the price but not the fit and finish. In short it's still fun to play even though every block seems to be a slightly different length, thickness, and even type of wood. I believe with a little effort I could have made a better set at home with my 8 year old & a saw, but it would have taken time and money as well. If you look at the picture you can see the issue of length, but it's hard to capture with a camera that some of the pieces are warped and have jagged edges. I'll order a real Jenga set soon, and I'm most likely over-rating this at 3 stars, but we are still having fun, and for ten dollars I can't complain too much. The pictures attached were taken immediately upon opening the box today.

The blocks are unfinished wood and they are poorly cut, with splinters and jagged edges. They don't fit together like Jenga blocks do- Jenga blocks form a square if you place three of them together, but these blocks are too long and thin so you have to space them out, making the setup process a bit tedious. The unfinished wood also makes them harder to pull out. I would not recommend this set.

Blocks do not align evenly when stacked. As you see in the product photo, the only way to make the opposite edges align is to space out every single piece in a certain way when stacking the blocks.....but who wants to do that every single time? And having uneven edges in the tower really messes up the pulling experience.

Game is pretty unusable with the proportion of width/length that the cutters used.

We have a lot of fun with this game. Because the blocks are not finished with any sort of finish, it's great for making up silly rules for every time someone pulls a block out of the tower. Makes the game even more exciting because of the anticipation of what silly rule you may get for the rest of the game! Definitely more flexible and more fun than Jenga!
