This tape stays on and does a great job preventing blisters. HOWEVER, none of that matters given the terrible bumpy rash it caused. I have an uncontrollable itch that has disrupted my sleep and hasn't gone away in close to two weeks. No matter how effective the tape is, it is not worth the skin reaction it has caused.
I put this stuff on both heels to prevent blisters. At first it worked well, aside from being very hard to remove and leaving adhesive residue--still, it did the job. Then I wore it for a couple days and when I remove the tape, it was as though I had just stood in a mound of fire ants. Under the exact contours of where the tape had been, I had red, infuriatingly itchy bumps. It took well over a week of applying hydrocortisone cream before the itching subsided. I stayed away from it for a few weeks and tried it again, this time to simply hold some gauze in place to prevent my backpack from rubbing against my skin. When I removed the tape, which was more painful than pulling off duct tape, once more, the area beneath just where the tape had been was red and very itchy for several days. This wasn't as severe since I only wore the tape a few hours.
I don't have a latex allergy, but at this point I wouldn't dare use this product again. I'll keep it around because my girlfriend uses it, and that's the only reason I give it two stars.
