Just now used this, here's what happened...

So, background about my hair, I've been bleaching my roots for about 8 years at home and I usually use highlighting drug store bleach kits (that have 30 vol developer) but just put it all over my roots. Not highlighting but just over all the roots. I know, it sounds like a waste of money to do that. haha Hence, why I'm trying something different.
Well, my roots are about a medium brown and pulls a lot of red when I bleach. And, I usually use a T18 toner with 20 vol developer to even out the color. I would like to stay pure platinum but my hair can't sustain it. I've done that before and lets just stay my hair broke up with me for a while. So, light blonde, it is.
So, I took the recommendations of everyone in the review section and used the 20 vol in the same brand with this and I am really glad I did!!!! It did start turning quicker than usual and actually, that was pretty scary to me. I would think you would only need 30 vol in this brand if you have jet black hair. It's scary to think what 40 would do.
It took me 15 minutes to cover all my roots (I only do the top and side portions of my hair, I just let the back of my hair be brown and let the blonde just cover most of that up.) I used the 1:1.5 ratio. It was runnier than what I was used to but actually thinking about, that is what made the application so even. From looking at it damp, I didn't miss any root, which is not usual for me.
Typically with the 30 vol kits, I would leave the bleach on for 30 minutes after I've applied it and I thought, well, this is 20 vol, I'll let it stay on my hair for 45mins after I put it on.
Well, I kept seeing it get light quickly and got scared so I just left it on for 30 mins instead. My hair did really feel mega dry when I was washing it out and thought, well, here comes the breakage. But, none of my hair was coming out and it didn't feel gummy so I felt in the safe zone. The dry, Ramen noodle zone.
It did bleach pretty evenly considering my root growth was about an inch and a half.
I did use my usual T18 toner but used the Schwartzkopf developer with it, which I will never do again. The color turned out ok but it was so oily that I couldn't paint it on my roots, just basically had to pour it on my hair. And, it started to do the gray thing quicker than usual, so I only left it on, not even 8 minutes, when I usually do 13.
So, far, with a thick layer of conditioner on my hair, as I type, the color looks good and even.
I will come back and update if in the next week there is any terrible happenings to my hair and scalp.
I gave 4 stars due to how dry my hair felt washing it out, felt like I had used Manic Panic bleach, that stuff is terrible. And, it never feels THAT dry with the drug store kits.
But, so far, so good.
