Liane Moriarty writes women's fiction with a voice we can all understand.
Hypnotherapist, Ellen, has pretty much given up on the idea of having a life-long loving relationship, when she meets widower and single dad, Patrick.
Surveyor, Patrick has been alone since a disastrous break-up with Saskia, a relationship that was a mistake, coming too soon after his wife's death. But Saskia can't let it go and has been stalking Patrick and his young son, Jack, ever since the break-up.
As Ellen's relationship with Patrick deepens, she realises that Saskia has been a client under an assumed name and the stalking is escalating.
With a future to plan for, Patrick and Ellen are at their wits end with unexpected break-ins and threats to Ellen's reputation.
When things literally come crashing down, it forces everyone to refocus on their futures.
I couldn't put this book down. A great read!
