I am only partially through putting this together so maybe I'll be happier when I'm done. Its a bit of a chore to assemble - lots of plastic parts that fit together like a kid's construction set. I think the engineering is pretty decent but it is absolutely ALL plastic. The 'rattan' is actually just molded plastic all around - this looks pretty good from a distance but may seem kind of cheap up close. The weight on each chair is pretty decent once its together - but I can tell a few of the 'caps' that were suppose to snap on are not going to stay on very long (didn't snap - probably going to need to silicone them on). Meanwhile, I can see that a few pieces are missing from the box - one is just melted away and another missing ... I'm waiting until the end of assembly to notify for replacement parts to see if any more are missing (lots of plastic screws/binders/caps so hard to tell). I went to request the missing parts tonight to see how hard that is going to be and Amazon sent me to the manufacturer's web site - that is a bit concerning (hopefully they are responsive and I'm not waiting for weeks to get the missing parts -- TBD)
The chairs are great however the loveseat assembly was a PITA. In step 11, ML cannot slide into position as the underside of the seats have plastic bracing within the rectangles that ML is to slide into. After taking apart the loveseat and even my a chair to check out those seats the problem remained. Broke out my dremel and chopped off the six little stubs that were to go into the bottom of the seat. This piece is now flush against the bottom of the seats. In step 12 I also attached one of the screws from the underside in the spine area as this is more sturdy. The chairs feel sturdy as does the loveseat after my tweaks.
This furniture is much harder than it appears. Easy to assemble, but was missing a piece for the back of ome chair. It didn't affect the assembly or holding it together, just doesn't look great if you see it. The cushions have no support and it's made out of hard plastic. I'm purchasing new cushions in the spring. Overall, a nice upgrade from what we had before.
What a cluster in the box! Pieces rolling around, not secured in bags. NO directions. Had to download the directions for assembly from the internet. Some of the pieces don't fit as directed for assembly. After hours of head scratching and piecing parts together we assembled it as best we could. It is comfortable but I wouldn't suggest ordering this unless you have plenty of time and patience.
For the price not a bad set. The cushions are a little thin but comfortable enough. They are 100% plastic (not coated wicker) and we broke a few of the plastic fasteners by over torquing them. Once together they are sturdy. For the price you get 4 pieces which is nice.
When it arrived multiple pieces had arrived broken only could put the two chairs together. We like them for the price. The company on the other hand is not easy to work with at all. We contacted Keter about the broken pieces and for over a month have been getting the run around on the shipment so we have the box sitting with the broken pieces in our garage and the two pieces on deck. We can't get them to give us a straight answer on the replacement parts. I like the furniture so I gave three stars but would only give one star for anything you need help with from Keter.
I ordered the Keter Corfu gray set of 2 chairs, 1 sofa and coffee table to use for a holiday gathering. The several parts of the sofa were missing so I was disappointed that I couldn’t use it for my social. BTW, I was informed that it wouldn’t ship until 6 weeks 1/2 of the summer. I do like the look and sturdiness.
These were really pretty! ..the only problem was when we received our set it was already broken! We meant to reach out to do something about it, but we got so busy we never did.. either way.. it's a very pretty set of furniture.
The set is really nice, the directions were simple and overall easy to put together. The plastic screws feel a bit cheap, but doesn't look cheap when assembled. My biggest concern is that two separate pieces (chair and loveseat) each had stripped screw holes where the arm connects to the back. So I have two pieces that aren't fully attached. I plan on buying something to fix this, rather than take apart and return the set but it is a bit frustrating.
Good construction even if you have to challenge your common sense on the assembly guide. Downside, it is very lightweight which makes it easy for my elderly parents to move BUT easy for a strong wind to move the set from the porch to the front yard.. lol
