This series absolutely grabbed me. It did feel a little like Merlin in atmosphere and the Leonardo didn't look like him but he's a dynamic actor. Leonardo and his effete merry men are involved in a series of adventures some of which were slightly hard to fathom or believe like the trip to Count Dracula's castle. Nevertheless it was still entertaining and there is a ravishing beauty played Ceciliana subject of many of his paintings - his muse. The symbology and attention to detail were captivating. An engaging look at Da Vinci. There has also been another recent Netflix series on him and there's a 1971 series about him. Well worth the money.

Yes, it looks good, maintains the idiosyncratic approach to the material and gripped for the season....although the plot structure did become a little repetitive as the season progressed.
Will probably not be troubling Season 2, but enjoyed this one.
