Ich bin kein Freund von Bewertungen von Filmen da ich der Auffassung bin jeder sollte sich selber ein Bild davon
machen.Dieses Werk sprengt alles was ich an schlechten Kriegsfilmen gesehen habe.Deutsche Soldaten
in diesem Film auch deutsche Schauspieler bedienen die Gruppe welche Vergewaltigungen von russischen Frauen,
dumme Befehlshaber die die eigenen Leute ins Verderben schicken mit dummen Kommentaren.Ich bin selber
entsetzt das sich Schauspieler aus der BRD dafür hergeben.Einfach nur Pfui.

The first season is great for a low budget show, the next 2 seasons weren’t as good (though still enjoyable) but this one is a fun start to this series so watch a trailer and if you like what you see definitely give this season a chance at the very least.

This show is far less science fiction than it lets on. Overall, it feels more like somebody took the New Caprica segments of Battlestar Galactica and stretched the concept into its own show. Not bad, but not stellar either. What works well is the casting and the characters - very few of the actors / actresses being big names, but excellent performers nonetheless. What doesn't work as well is that the war that precedes the show sounds like a much more interesting show to have been made.

Nonetheless, there is a good story to follow, and the plot does lead to some very interesting places.

meiner Meinung nach. Insgesamt erinnert diese SciFi-Serie an die Serie "Firefly". Die Zukunft ist auch angesiedelt im Cowboy-Style, jedoch hat sie natürlich eine eigene Handlung. Klar ist auch, das diese Serie mit dem Abdrehen der Staffel 2 und 3 länger läuft als Firefly und zumindest dahingehend erfolgreicher ist. Der Pilotfilm von Defiance ist Klasse, die Episoden fallen etwas ab, dennoch gut anzuschauen. Für Freunde des Genres sicher ein Muss.
Nervig: der Ton schwankt zu stark, d.h. die Sprechenden versteht man kaum, jedoch die Geräusche und Musik kommen überlaut daher.

I watched all episodes and came away with a slight interest in seeing the next season but no overall compelling urge or anticipation to seeing them. The alien characters need to be less human in their reactions and there also needs, (IMO), more science advancements involved given the amount of highly advanced tech that keeps falling to earth.
The overall integration of alien life into human society seems too unrealistic and too many human overtones are apparent within the alien factions themselves and I consider to be a flaw in the movement and path the factions are heading in.

My husband and I really enjoy this series! We are both sci-fi fans and bought Season 1 on a whim ... have now ordered Season 2. We found the acting quite good and my husband really liked the fact that it does not portray all the aliens as villains. We both find Defiance fun to watch as covers a gamut of interpersonal relationships (whether it be alien or human) and a good story line.

Ich mag dieses Genre, die Serie ist gut gemacht, interessant und bietet einige Abwechslungen zum täglichen Krimieinerlei oder den Liebesschnulzen.
