Initially received my first mat and the down button was defective, Long story short was sent a new product. New product arrived yesterday and installed today. Down button worked when selecting menu options, but the second I attempted to play an actual game it stopped working. I exited the gameplay and tried testing the down button in the menu and was not responsive, it only worked about 50% of the time if jumping with both feet. Also I ordered this item initially in Feb, and it is now end of May, so it has been a lot of back and forth.

To be clear, the staff have been polite and mostly helpful, but this was a product I was excited to use, and it's been months just to be disappointed in the end.

Pads work (so far) but set up is a huge mess if you don't have a CD Rom Drive -takes about 2 hours?

Just got these yesterday, the pads work upon testing them.

I have Windows 10 and no CD Rom drive in my laptop. The product details say they send you a link if your CD Rom is broken, but I didn't get any link, or anything in the packaging.

Also I didn't receive any tape as indicated?

Here's how I got them to work. Google search "ostent dance pad driver" click on the link that goes to the Ostent website. It seems really sketchy because half the website is broken and the logo is different, but they do provide a downloadable driver.

Scroll down and download "PC dance pad driver". It's 600 megabites and takes over an hour to download for some reason (even with high speed internet... shouldn't have been more than 5-10 minutes max?). Extract that to a folder on your PC and you're nearly done.

After this, you have to configure the pads to Stepmania or it won't let you play more than one player. Go to the joypad options and configure each button on each pad. This is kinda confusing, but I found help on the stepmania site.

Anyway, hoping that last!

I remember loving DDR on my PS2 and playing on a similar mat like this and wanted to get back into it! The product came very quickly and was very easy to install. A CD and instructions came with the mat, but like most people my computer doesn't have a CD drive. However finding the installation file is very easy via google. It's also very easy to install new songs made by the community, so you don't have to get sick of the music! Mat so far has been accurate, I'll update if anything happens, but I am very happy with my purchase as of now!

No hemos probado el DVD si no que hemos descargado step mania directamente de la pagina web.
Eso si antes de poder usarlas hay que configurar los controles en el programa step mania, pero son 5 minutos a lo sumo.
Para descargar canciones es algo complicado debido al buscador pero hay ciertos sitios como esta lista https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1F1IURV1UAYiICTLhAOKIJfwUN1iG12ZOufHZuDKiP48/htmlview# donde hay varias canciones para principiantes (mirar sección begginer packs). (es cuestión de descargar las canciones en las carpetas de stepmania correspondientes y ya se puede jugar)

This review really goes for any "soft" dance pad. If it isn't made of metal or wood, the sensors inside just stop working, and much quicker than you would expect. I can only recommend something like this for small kids who won't realize that their steps aren't registering and they are getting a score of 0, but in that case you might as well just draw arrows on the floor for them to step on. If you actually want to play this game for more than a few days, I highly suggest just buying some sensors and following Youtube tutorials to build your own pad. It sounds complicated and it can be but you can basically tape $5 sensors to the floor and have a more reliable piece of tech than any plastic pad you can buy. I bought this fully expecting it to be temporary and was still disappointed with how quick it died, even after I had reinforced it. If companies can't build these things to last a decent amount of time I honestly don't think they should be building them at all, it's wasteful.

This came in great condition. It took a long time to ship though. I wish it came with better instructions though, it came with none so I had to google how to set it up. It’s kind of slippery on the ground, but I don’t think that can be helped. I would recommend this to anyone interested in playing DDR games at home!

- El cable usb es demasiado corto, solo es efectivo si la torre esta en el suelo y enfrente de donde quieras jugar.
-El ordenador no reconoce el pad, al no tener un lector de CDs busqye los drivers en la web del fabricante y tras tardar 2 DIAS en descargar 600mb resulta que ni siquiera eran drivers, solo era un .exe del Stepmania (desactualizado)
- La alfombre estaba mal, hay dos botones que no reconoce y el boton de Abajo esta en el CENTRO.
Es injugable, y una vergüenza que vendan esto asi, 20€ tirados a la basura.
