How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

Great truths of wisdom expressed so clearly. It is written like a map to guide us out of the Illusion. Doesn't matter how long we have been on the journey of awakening or how much self discovery work we have done. It is good to revisit some wisdom to keep reminding us of the keys we hold within us to create the life we desire rather than the life we are programmed to follow.

1.0 out of 5 starsInsights, approaches, and a few penny-drops

A couple of things that I'll take from this book will be with me for life. The second agreement (take nothing personally, nothing at all!) is one, and the idea of denial as a plaster-cast that needs discarding once healing has occurred. There were other interesting takes too. The 4 agreements are a profound prescription for a basis of happy loving living. There’s a lot of repetition and reexpression of points, via different syntax or more examples, but justified in intent obviously. The 3 ways of addressing fear, or “the parasite” as he cleverly calls it, were notable in their clarity also. Also that these fears we are shackled to, and feed through addiction, are more often than not borne from the limited imaginings and understandings of a 4yo trying to explain life’s slings and arrows from a self-centric (by psychological definition) perspective, and their necessary re-examination from a mature POV depends on ability to access them, through either plaster-cast removal or the three ways of addressing fears.

I found his principles to be extremely practical and seemed to have unlocked something in me that has stopped me from moving forward. I will continue this practice.

Short & simple but very effectively coveyed the message on how to live our lives in this world. Enjoyed it thoroughly and I'm already implementing these 4 agreements in my everyday life little by little.

Simple and relevant and insightful. Resonates and in harmony with other spiritual axioms which are always good to revisit from a new perspective

If you like the style of Napoleons Hill, this book will leave you unsatisfied. Ruiz' text is a blend of tale and self help style, closer to Oz Mandino's publications yet less anecdotal. I should have not made any assumption on the text as the book recommends.
The four agreements can be applied from day 1, which is a positive aspect
