Great beginner top coat!

Although the top coat is a little on the thick side, it’s a great shiny top coat especially for
beginner nail artists that can’t specifically afford the best products on the market. Super easy instructions and doesn’t take too long in the UV light to dry. I’ve only used the base coat to position my rhinestones as I use the dip powder system, but it smells really nice and is just as good as the top coat.
Although I have nothing to compare it to as it is my first gel based top coat and base, I’m sure the pictures can showcase the shine itself.
Lastly, I’ve seen a couple reviews about it thickening overtime, I have used it about 5 times now and no problems yet but might update if anything happens.

Disappointed base

The first time I received this set, the base was semi dried and so thick that I couldn’t pull the brush out from the bottle. Thinking it was a one off, I ordered another set, but like the first it too was too thick to use. Aimeili needs to fix this issue, otherwise the polishes are great

Base coat won't cure

The top coat works fine, reasonably sized bottles, but unfortunately no matter how long I tried to cure, the base coat will not dry at all. I tried over 3 minutes. I would not buy again for this reason.

The bottom coat was ok, but the brush to the top coat was like a pop stick which meant you couldn't apply evenly. Had to take the whole colour off underneath as the finish was lumpy.

WORST TOP COAT EVER

To be honest, the only reason I bought this is because of the photos and CLAIMS here on amazon. I received the item yesterday and was so excited to try it. The base coat was very decent but you need more than 4 mins to dry it over UV/LED lamp. The top coat was so disappointing!!! It doesn’t dry up well! I have an old UV activated top coat from Yayoge and was expecting that Aimeili Too coat will be better since it was so much more expensive than my old one. I had to put my nails under the lamp for 5 mins. And after all of the struggle it still doesn’t dry up!!! It leaves me with 90% dry nails that will look matte if you eve touch it. It also lifts away the colored nail polish from the nailbed making it look bubbly and soon tores off. I hope your company will care enough to check what is wrong with your Top coat formula.

Fake/cheap top coat

This no wipe top coat DOES NOT work with born pretty special effect powders (see picture attached!!) this whole time I thought I had received defective powders, then I bought Makartt polygel and it came with a no wipe top coat and thought to try it again. I’m so glad I did!! Beyond that this top coat is bad quality. See pictures.
Very disappointed. This is the second time I buy this and the No Wipe top coat always turns into gloppy gummy, thick and sticky. Also for whatever reason the brush both times is frayed and ends up sort of melting and creating weird long and hard bits on the brush. When brushing it on the nail you can see hard bubbles and bits. Not smooth at all. All my gel polished are stored the same little box and this is the only one that ended up this way twice now. Wishing I didn’t buy any of this brand.. now I know why my gel polish doesn’t last.. cheap quality.

Wow! This stuff lasts a very long time, however it took me 3 separate times of soaking my nails with acetone to remove the top coat at 20 minutes each time. I buffed my nails first to scratch it too. It might be easier to let the polish grow out! The top coat polish keeps its shine for entire time. This stuff lasts a long time.
The base coat didn't even come off, so I just buffed it off with my nail file.
I want to give this a great review, the price is so good, it's just so darn hard to remove. I like the other polish colors, but just will use my other brand base and top coats instead.

Base Coat is NOT good - not a smooth application

I purchased the Aimeili top coat and base coat bundle. The top coat is okay: you certainly do not require alcohol to wipe off any sticky residue, so it performs as advertised. The shine on the top coat is not as long lasting as the China Glaze Gelaze top coat I previously purchased.
The base coat however is another story: do not purchase the Aimeili base coat. It DOES NOT apply evenly. You will notice while applying a thin, even coat on your bare clean nails, that within a few seconds the coat starts to pull away at certain parts of your nail i.e. it does not look like the base coat was evenly applied. It's hard to explain but just imagine painting a perfectly coated nail with base coat, and then within seconds, circular spots start to "dry up" on the nail so that the nail is no longer evenly coated. It's weird and have not experienced this with other brands. So your nail polish will not apply evenly over this base coat, as you can imagine. AVOID THE AIMEILI BASE COAT

Its fine, but I'm upset with the application

As the title says, Its fine, but I'm upset with the application. It holds up okay, I use it with non-gel nail polish so I think that's why it doesn't last as long as it advertises. What I am upset about is that the application brush for the top coat has hardened completely and I have only had these for about 2 weeks max. It renders the brush almost completely useless for application of the top coat, and is extremely upsetting since I've had it for such a short time. I would expect this if I had it for maybe a couple months and I left the lid open, but this is just insane to me. I am not sure if its just the bottle I got, or it somehow got exposed to my UV Lamp (I highly doubt it, but there's always that chance).

I am going to try and revive the brush by soaking the bristles in acetone to soak off the hardened polish, so if that works I'll update this. Over all, not extremely happy, but it gets the job done for when I work in my restaurant job.

Very irritating to the skin

The products work alright as far as what they're designed for - the base gel is does provide a good base, but the top coat is a bit difficult to get to level unless you gob on a really thick coat and wait maybe a minute or two for it to self level (it's much slower to do this compared to other top coats I've used and is very prone to streaks/other imperfections in the finish if you're not extremely careful).

However, the biggest issue is the skin irritation these create. I have very tough skin that rarely if ever reacts to things, but my fingers ITCH UNCONTROLLABLY for days and days after using these. It's unbearable, and I can only imagine the kind of reaction this could provoke for someone with sensitive skin. The package directions even say to avoid skin contact, which should have been a red flag for something being used adjacent to skin. I've used myriad other gel polishes, and this is the only one I've ever had an issue with.
