To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I do remember going to the cinema to see this and not being that impressed. I don't think that I have seen it since then but on this viewing I found it laugh out loud funny in places. It is certainly of its time, released in 1970 with an X certificate now 15; how times have changed. It was the nudity and that did it I suppose. It is basically a satire on the advertising industry but what Ned Sherrin the producer really set his sites on was that ghastly woman Mary Whitehouse and her cleanup TV campaign.
