Much cheaper than my local IGA. 2nd time purchasing via Amazon in bulk (6 jars at a time). First time 4 of the jars had popped their lids during shipping and spilled their contents everywhere. Next to no packaging, padding or protection. This time each jar was individually bubble wrapped and all arrived in perfect condition. Much improved experience. Good coffee, as usual.

One of the jars out of two I ordered was smashed during transit. Aparently was smashed for a while, at least by the built-up moisture caking up in the corners. There was not any form of extra packaging for protection aside from the usual Amazon scrunched paper packaging, which that visually demonstrates to not work in this case.
The other jar was intact, but had to carefully remove it from the box to avoid the various chunks of glass everywhere. The coffee, from the intact jar, is good though so that's a plus.

why are the lid seals cut

Seals on both sides of the jar were already broken! Unwrapped the tight bubble wrapping which opened the lid so easily, and some contents fell out of the jar, very disappointing! And this coffee is not cheap and receiving it in this condition? How would you feel if you were in my shoes?!

First bottle arrived was seal-broken. Then Amzaon was nice to refund us. I tried ordering second bottle, but does not taste normal, i have been drinking Mocono for many years, but the taste is not same.

When I opened the box, the coffee jar seal appears to have been knife cut and the lid was ajar, as well as coffee granuals at the bottom of the box. Also, Poor packaging job.
