As always Lee Child has explored the character of Reacher. Always on the side of right but always working the angles. Couldn’t put it down.

1.0 out of 5 starsI lthank Reacher needs a holiday and Lee Child might need one as well.. Last two books not buzzing like all the other books.
Reviewed in Australia on 28 September 2015
Lee Child is our favourite author. We have every one of his books. This book was good, much better than the previous one 'PERSONAL' which we found to be the worst one yet from Lee Child. But I think Lee could do better than this. I know it must be hard to come up with a different story every year, but to keep Reacher interesting, I feel that it may be time to go back into his army days and produce a story that shows what Reacher was. And how he dealt with things as it was then.
We all love Reacher and we wait patiently for each book. Normally, when the new book is available, Amazon deliver to my Kindle on the first day. I can never put it down until I have read it all. But with these last two books, the excitement has gone out of the chapters.
Come on Lee, have a good rest and give Reacher one hell of a story that will keep his fans on edge until the last page.

2.0 out of 5 stars Sad and disappointed

I have felt that he has a ghost writer for the last few books. The basic story could have had so much more done with it. The depth just isn't there anymore. Used to be so excited when a new Reacher book came out. Now it is finally over for me. Two or three books over the limit and lacking in action and color. I thought the headache would cause him a brain embolism and end it all in an exciting last stand. Phil Clark.

2.0 out of 5 stars disappointed Reacher fan

I was really looking forward to this release & was so disappointed. This is the worst Lee Child book I have read. It feels like it was written by someone else. The usually sharp witty banter was replaced with trite, short dumbed down try hard banter.
There was hardly any action & it was difficult to become involved in the relationship that Reacher & Chang formed.
Not the worst book that I have read but a long way from even an average one.

Sorry lee this was not your best.I have read all your Jack Reacher books.I guess you are allowed one not so good book.May be your next one will be the best .Old Jack is getting older now and needs to settle down and have a child pardon the pun but a little Joe Reacher would give us readers some excitement .

2.0 out of 5 stars Very ordinary

I have read all of Lee Child's "Jack Reacher" and I have always loved them. But not this one. I found this book very ordinary, not his normal exciting stories. Bog down many times with only a few exciting chapters. Don't bother.

Lee Child has certainly gone down hill in this plot in my opinion -I knew where it was heading quite early in the story but not the sick ending I must admit - yes I know there are some sick things in our world but some shouldn't, be put into a good yarn.

2.0 out of 5 stars I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THIS BOOK

I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THIS BOOK. IT WAS THE SAME PLOT AS SO MANY OF LEE CHILD'S BOOKS IN THE LAST FEW YEARS. IN A TOWN, RUNS INTO A A PROBLEM AND A SEXY WOMAN, KILLS THE BADDIES AND LEAVES. I THINK ITS TIME TO GIVE UP WHICH IS SAD AS HE HAS WRITTEN SOME BRILLIANT STORY LINES. I FOUND MYSELF BORED PART WAY THROUGH THE BOOK.
