As always Lee Child has explored the character of Reacher. Always on the side of right but always working the angles. Couldn’t put it down.

1.0 out of 5 starsI lthank Reacher needs a holiday and Lee Child might need one as well.. Last two books not buzzing like all the other books.
Reviewed in Australia on 28 September 2015
Lee Child is our favourite author. We have every one of his books. This book was good, much better than the previous one 'PERSONAL' which we found to be the worst one yet from Lee Child. But I think Lee could do better than this. I know it must be hard to come up with a different story every year, but to keep Reacher interesting, I feel that it may be time to go back into his army days and produce a story that shows what Reacher was. And how he dealt with things as it was then.
We all love Reacher and we wait patiently for each book. Normally, when the new book is available, Amazon deliver to my Kindle on the first day. I can never put it down until I have read it all. But with these last two books, the excitement has gone out of the chapters.
Come on Lee, have a good rest and give Reacher one hell of a story that will keep his fans on edge until the last page.

3.0 out of 5 stars Reacher's Getting Old

Not the best Reacher. Its a story, initially, about a mysterious disappearance of a private investigator in a remote mid-western town. Reacher and a female companion eventually, of course, discover the complete ghoulish set-up of the place and what they do there. I won't spoil it for readers. There are inevitably innumerable set-backs all of which are overcome. Unusually Reacher leaves the scene of the escapade with said female companion... Read on

Must be close to 50 now and still dishing it out, but the younger ones are starting to ring his bell now so I'm wondering where Lee will go with Jack. It was and interesting story but it won't be a favorite. Any Jack Reacher fan, like myself. will always enjoy the world of Reacher and his Life Rules.

3.0 out of 5 stars Is this the start of Jack's retirement?

A good Reacher...an injured Reacher...a Reacher in love. Is this the start of retirement? Jack causing multiple breaks to limbs and body in a retirement environment on a beach in Florida chasing illegals or rampant drug dealers may be the next story. Set in a condo with his new lady he could make his first foray into a shopping mall in Tampa to actually buy multiple items of clothes, shoes and a new tooth brush or three.

The Teacher saga is becoming more formalistic. However the formula is fast paced and easy to read. The big surprise in Make Me is the product the crooks have for sale.

Good read. A little surprised that it took so long to reach the crux of the story. Well researched regarding the "web" but felt that the storyline was a little obscure. Preferred his other Reacher novels

A good storey with a completely different pitch, seemed to be a bit heavy in the mid section but came up with a final section.

Same old!! Mr Child should get another character to write about, I think he has 'done' Reacher to death.
