5.0 out of 5 starsExcellent 60W USB and USB-C Charger
Reviewed in Australia on 23 November 2020
I needed a second charger for my brand new 2020 macbook m1. The official apple one is very expensive and it doesn't even come with additional ports so I looked at alternatives. I've owned heaps of Anker products in the past and found them to be very well built and excellent value for money.

I now use this to:
- charge my 2020 MacBook Pro M1
- charge my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+
- charge my Nintendo Switch

I highly recommend this.

2.0 out of 5 starsDoes not charge a MacBook Pro or iPad Pro
Reviewed in Australia on 16 August 2018
I was hoping this power supply would offer the same performance as the Apple one plus have some useful USB charging ports. Unfortunately it doesn't do either of those jobs. The supply current to the MacBook Pro is limited to 5W which is nowhere near enough to power the laptop while in use. Instead the battery discharges. I was also using a USB port to charge an iPad Pro as recommended by the manufacturer, but that also does not supply enough current to keep the device charged while in use. I contacted Anker about this and did not receive a reply.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works as advertised, feels durable

I like 30w USB PD for my MBR 12" + 4x "IQ" USB charging.

Note that 4x "IQ" USB charging can deliver "2x 5v 2.4A" _or_ "4x 5v lower A" up to 30w total; this charger is 30w USB PD + 30 4x "IQ" USB charging.

Note the product dimension; it's roughly as bulky as MacBook 61w USB-C power adapter but it cannot deliver 60w or even 45w USB PD because it's limited to 30w USB PD max.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good solid and reliable charger that is great to take travelling
Reviewed in Australia on 13 October 2020

I liked;
- the power capability and the number of USB output ports, in particular 1 USB C.
- low temperature of the case even under full load.

I don't like
- the need to lay it down (large footprint) on a flat surface as it will not stand (is unstable) on its edge unless you glue it down which defeats the travel advantage. Should have a small pull out (retractable) foot to make it stable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Charges properly

Bought this to use when I'm on the road for work.
Have only tested it in the office as we aren't travelling for work ATM.
Tested it with my MacBook Pro in the USB- C port and an iPhone & headphones in 2 of the USB-A ports and everything charged.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality, but beware limits on USB C charging
Reviewed in Australia on 10 March 2019

Seems to be a good, solidly built charger. Does a very good job of charging multiple USB devices. I miss having a power LED - would it really have blown the budget h to put a 5c LED on the case so we know the charger is plugged in and has power?

The USB C charging is limited to only 30W. The Anker charger will not charge my HP X360 even when it is turned off, but it does seem to be able to power the laptop, since the battery level doesn't go down when I'm using it with the Anker charger connected.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for charging smaller laptops

I think if you have a macbook air or something that doesn't require much power, this could be good. I use a Macbook Pro 15inch. Can't charge it fast enough. I also didn't think to look this up before buying it.

But it does what it's suppose to do. Feels like it's built well.

Important to note that the block does not plug directly into your power outlet, but instead has a power cable that plugs into it.

Great for charging multiple devices.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality but doesn’t fast charge via USB-A ports

Fast charge my iPhone 12pro max with USB-C PD port. Was disappointed to learn it doesn’t fast charge my Samsung s10+ with any USB-A port. My purpose was to fast charge both phones with one charger.

4.0 out of 5 stars Does not fast charge on all ports
Reviewed in Australia on 26 March 2019

This charger is useful because has several USB type A ports, unfortunately none of the are really fast charging for my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The only way to fast charge is buying a separate cable that connects on the USB C on the charger and the phone. Not really what I expected, but still ok.
