To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Just wanted to clear up a point the seller isn't being honest on. These goggles are NOT prescription ready, after directly contacting both Bobster as well as Sport RX (the company that makes Bobsters prescriptions lenses) the Crossfire is NOT one of the goggles they can or could make lenses for. They're too small and would require too steep a curvature of the lenses.
It's a shame as they really fit me very well, I prefer smaller framed goggles and I probably will wear them on the days I wear contacts, but according to every company involved in the actual manufacturing of these googles, there's just no way you could ever get prescription lenses OR inserts to fit into them. The seller is either missinformed or flat out lying about that.
I loved these goggles but after using them for a few months, the foam which blocks the wind is beginning to detach. It is not held to the frame by mechanical means but by glue. I really do not know if I could replace the foam or not. If not, this design flaw makes this product prematurely useless despite the rest of the product still just fine.
While these goggles are relatively inexpensive I don't buy products to toss them on a trash heap after using them a few months. It would be an improvement if one could easily replace just the foam!
