Oh man, Pottermore weren't lying when they included the word "hardship" in the title - this collection of short stories is bleeeeeeeeeak.
It's a collection of McGonagall, Lupin, Trelawney, and Kettleburn's back stories and they're all depressing as HELL. It's fantastic to see into their lives and how they came to be the characters we know and love, but Christ these characters have been through a lot! Lupin's story alone will break your heart all over again!
Thankfully Rowling ends the book on a high note with Kettleburn's bio, which is more funny than sad - and I will never look at flobberworms the same!
