2nd best in the series

The resident evil series is a guilty pleasure of mine. Having seen them all i was hesitant about the "last one" as they have declined slighty in quality over the years...

But the series definately goes out on a high note imo, this is my second favourite out of the series with the 1st film being my favourite.

These resident evil movies have great action sequences, Mila is as sexy as ever, older and in great shape after having a baby but still that smoldering appeal.
This is suppose to be the last as the one before did, see for yourself what you think. Definitely worth a watch although not the best one

Final Chapter is return to form for the Resident Evil series and for me, the best since Apocalypse and Extinction, possibly my favourite due to the number of action sequences. Others hated this movie... I really don't care if the critics slated it. I enjoyed it and if you're a fan of the films, give it a watch and decide for yourself. A good ending to an enjoyable series.

Ich kann die ganzen negativ Rezensionen nicht verstehen.
Das letzte Kapitel ist doch im Prinzip genau das, was die Vorgänger
auch abgeliefert haben:
Solide, stumpfe, schnelle Action Kost, ohne besondere Handlung und
ohne Grusel oder Horror.
Dabei ist Resident Evil ( das Spiel liebe ich, seit der Playstation 1) ein Horrorspiel
mit leichten Action Elementen und nicht umgekehrt.

Beim ersten Teil haben Anderson und Co sogar noch den ersten Teil der Reihe gespielt
um sich einen Eindruck vom Erfolg das Games zu machen, um den Film so zu produzieren
das der Film auch ja dem Game gerecht wird, aber das ist denen ja schon beim
ersten Teil überhaupt nicht gelungen, höchstens ansatzweise.
Aber dann bekam die Filmreihe ihre Eigendynamik und wurde immer absurder und
wich immer mehr und mehr von den Gameinhalt ab, und wurde actionlastiger.
Die Fans wollten aber den Film zum Spiel sehen, und keine stumpfe langweilige
Action Kost ohne Handlung , also drehte der Fan der Reihe irgendwann den Rücken,
und selbst der größte Macher ohne Hirn hat dann bei dem letzten Teil verstanden:
Die Kuh gibt keine Milch mehr, ziehen wir den Schlußstrich drunter, und klatschen
ein halbwegs schlüssiges Ende in die Kinos, um noch einmal die Kassen klingeln zu lassen.
Das wars dann aber auch schon.

Fazit:
Ich hab mir den Film als Abschluß der Serie hier fürn 5er gekauft, mehr ist der Trash
auch nicht wert, aber der Film ist jetzt auch nicht besser oder schlechter als die anderen
Teile.
Kann man sich einmal angucken, bleibt nicht im Gedächtniss, und das wars auch schon.
Wie mit den anderen üblichen Horrorfilmen um schnell Kasse machen zu können.
Kein Film der aktuell läuft ist gehaltvoll und hat das Zeug irgendwie Kult zu werden,
weil Bloomhouse und Co nur auf Kohle aus sind. Die Teens laufen ohnehin in die Kinos.
Ich find das sehr schade, denn mittlerweile sind die ganzen Filme fast alle belanglos
und austauschbar geworden, ohne großen Wiedererkennungswert.

The final chapter that a lot of people disliked but I enjoyed it because they returned to the original formula, raw action! It docent really end at the end! You have to make your mind up how it goes. Give it a go you will not be disappointed.
