How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

5.0 out of 5 starsKnow your Why, How and What for individuals or organisations.
Reviewed in Australia on 3 February 2020
Leading with WHY has a deeper, more emotional and ultimately more influential value.
Use stories and themes to create a Why statement: To (contribution) So That (impact)
For large organisation Why statements can be nested down to individuals.
Having a valid why and that is shown and practised creates competitive advantage.

1.0 out of 5 starsDefinitely not my first choice for finding my raison d'être
Reviewed in Australia on 6 March 2020
It might be good for a large organisations but I could find little of practical value. It seems to be a summary of one of their workshops and looses a lot in the translation to the printed page.
If you are looking for this type of advice it may pay lo look elsewhere.

2.0 out of 5 stars Leider enttäuschend

First of all it is NOT written by Simon Sinek, It contains notes of two motivated colleagues (fans) of Simon Sinek who know Simon Sinek as a hero who has newly discovered "Why are we here".
Some of his ideas are Ok but nothing really scientific or spectacular. Watching the trends and considering what ppl are suffering from is not really hard to harvest.
A good public speaker, a bad writer, a lost theorist.

did not like it. Not because isn't valuable but because it complicated to follow as you need people to experiment. Basically, better applying to a workshop... reading the book is weird.

I really liked Start With Why because the idea of the book was very simple, actionable and effective. Find Your Why made the simplicity that Start With Why (which was the brilliance of the book) complex. Start With Why is inspiring but Find Your Why isn’t to me…

Bought this hoping to be able to work through it myself. Unfortunately, the "Find your Why" method requires you to work in depth with a partner (3+ hrs they say) - and that partner shouldn't be someone too close to you (eg: spouse, family, close friends), but should be someone you trust (who is there after that?).

They repeatedly state that the method is not effective if you try to do it on your own.

The method requires a partner to actively listen, ask searching questions, take insightful notes and not be judgemental or directive. In other words, it sounds like it needs someone with coaching training.

So what's the point in buying a book that tells me how to help other people to "Find their Why", but requires me to find someone else to help me find mine?

2.0 out of 5 stars Try to find your why... in the next book.

If you're trying to do this by yourself, skip to another book.
All this really tells you to do is get a partner, hope they're cool with hearing your stories for 4-8 hours, and then hope they can find your why from all of the stories you just told them. It doesn't really go into depth about what to talk about or how to actually Find your why.
Like others have mentioned, I believe only the forward is actually written by Sinek.
