I've read just about every conceivable book on this subject and this is easily the best of them. It summarises all of them concisely, cutting through the crap, but in an engaging manner. In short, start on making improvements to yourself and the rest will follow. It doesn't bother with fancy pickup techniques, it merely reinforces that taking positive action in your own life means that everything else will fall into place after. If you aren't inspired to change after reading this, then you will likely never make the changes you need.

Too long and misses the important issue.

Ok book, but could have been half the length if the author didn't go over the same subject constantly. Also, as is the case with books covering this subject, there is very little about the importance of looks in attracting women, which is hardly surprising as Manson is a good looking man, and obviously doesn't struggle in this area.
Would be good if a dating book did come clean about looks, and the issues you realistically face if you're a below average looking man. Trouble is a large slice of their consumer base would fall into this category.

Basically the premise of the book is stop trying to manipulate people and just present yourself, then work on yourself until you become attractive. You don't need to be good looking or successful, you just have to be authentic.

I used the advice in this book and I went from almost always being ignored to having too many women interested in me. I definitely recommend it, but be warned: it is hard work.
