Criminal Minds is not just your ordinary crime series, there are interesting stories and unusual crimes, the team are all well casted, with individual talents which makes interesting viewing. Excellent entertainment.
Criminal Minds is one of my absolute favourite shows at the moemnt, very smart, very clever, very good stories. After the first two Seasons and some reviews I read I was a bit worried how to like season 3, but truth is, it is probably the best yet - that being said I haven't seen Season 4 or 5. A few things - and characters - change, and there are some people here saying they don't like Rossi - Gideon was better. Truth is Rossi is the total opposite of Gideon - arrogant, not very team player and thinking he can do it all - in the beginning, but he grows on you after a while. The stories get better with S3 abd although there might be 2 or 3 episodes where I thought they could have done more, or leave out entirely - the whole season is very good and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Especially with the Cliffhanger Finale. If you love Criminal Minds you will love this.
Picking up where season 2 left off, this excellent, dark but gripping series introduces new team member David Rossi played by Joe Mantegna who replaces Jason Gideon who leaves after he realizes he can't cope anymore with what the team face. At first you do miss Gideon who was an excellent character superbly played by Mandy Patinkin but Rossi is a great addition as a legendary former profiler now author who comes back to the FBI. One of the darkest, grittiest mainstream shows ever made for tv but thrilling with an excellent cast which sees the FBI BAU team profile and catch serial killers in America. One of the best American crime dramas out there highly reccommended.
We have actually watched the first 4 seasons of Criminal Minds back to back and enjoyed every minute. It's an American series so everyone is glamorous but the BAU team is serious and we were quickly absorbed in the stories. Nearly all of the plots are believable and it is a look into the dark and terrifying world of serious serial killers. The episodes have been very varied and it has certainly kept our interest through all 4 seasons. I don't think I would put it up there with "The Wire" but it's pretty close. I think that's because "The Wire" had an overall story arch for 5 seasons only but Criminal Minds will probably run just as long as it's successful. If you enjoy crime series, you should like this.
I was a little dubious about buying this season as I thought the loss of the previous main character (Gideon), who for me seemed fundamental to the show, might spoil it. However I went ahead anyway and was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed this season a lot and watched the whole thing over just a couple of days as I kept saying "just one more episode!". It finishes on a terrible cliffhanger though, so I suggest buying season four at the same time to avoid a long wait!
CRIMIAL MINDS JUST BRILLIANT EVERY EPISODE TO THE LAST WERE VERY EXCITNG AND EACH LEFT YOU WANTING TO SEE MORE. I FOUND THIS SERIES HARD TO STOP WATCHING NORMALLY TAKES ME A WEEK TO WATCH ALL THE SERIES THROUGH BUT AS IT WAS SO GOOD I WATCHED IT ALL IN A WEEKEND IT WAS JUST FANTASTIC LOVED IT ALL.THE TOPS FOR ME AS THE ACTORS TAKE ON THEY'RE ROLLS SO WELL IT'S BRILL:0)
I am a massive fan of Criminal Minds but only got into it during Season 5. Thanks to Sky, I`ve been able to catch up with all the episodes from the very beginning. However, Season 3 was always missing key episodes especially the one where Garcia was shot. I didn`t want to buy a boxed set because it was too expensive so this was a perfect alternative
i really enjoyed this season, they were all new to me as i had not seen any of the season on tv, so was taken in from start to finish - emotions were all over the place. would recommend to family and friends to watch it
