I loved the concept and the fabric/weight etc. Unfortunately, the first time I washed it-- it completely ripped open at one seam so it's basically just a place holder until I can get another one.

Update: after two years of this review being found as helpful, I was contacted by the company to remove this review for compensation. It’s still here.....

This comforter is the GOAT. Like many married couples, I was considering divorcing my husband for hogging the blankets at night. Instead, I decided to look for a second comforter so I can be the independent bed burrito I know I am. I had a few caveats: I didn’t want to spend a ton of money because - to be honest - it was a frivolous purchase, I wanted it to be lightweight so I can also drag it to the living room for movie nights, and it needs to be warm enough for chilly nights but light enough for summer. This blanket checks all of those boxes and then some (the fabric is ridiculously soft/smooth/feels like a gentle caress). If you’re thinking of buying this, you won’t regret it - it’s a total steal for a high-quality comforter!

I have purchased two of these now in the slate gray color. The first was for a twin XL dorm room bed. I purchased the twin/twin XL size and it fit perfectly. The dorm was an old brick building in an area that gets snowy and cold around 15 degrees in the winter and very hot around 90-100 degrees in the summer and this comforter worked perfectly year round. My daughter likes it so much, she held onto it and uses it as a couch blanket now.

I purchased another for our RV in a full/queen size for a queen bed and it fit great as well. It has plenty of extra hang over on each edge. My husband sleeps hot and I am always cold and it fit both of our needs well.

The comforter arrived vacuum sealed and I questioned how it would fluff up like I was expecting but it took shape within minutes of unpackaging it. It had a chemical smell upon opening it but after washing and drying it and airing it on the bed, the smell went away quickly. It washed and dried nicely. The one we have had for two years still looks great after many washings.

The price is right and the quality seems to hold up well. I highly recommend this comforter!

I bought twin navy comforters for my 2 and 4 year old sons in January 2021. Ten months later, these comforters have been peed on, puked on, nosebled-on, boogers wiped on them, had diaper changes on them every day, and toothpaste rubbed into them, baby powder, diaper rash cream, etc. We sit on them every night for storytime, and they've been flopped on, crawled on, tickled and snuggled on. They've been washed and dried again and again, at least once if not twice a month. All that to say, they have been used HARD. They still look and feel brand new! No ripping at the seams, no fill bunching, no fabric pilling, no discoloration. They're the perfect balance of warm enough for winter but cool enough for summer (with air conditioning). I'm super pleased with the quality of these blankets. Highly recommend! Also, just a note that we have a front-loading washing machine, not a top-loading machine.

I could give it another 5 due to the fact that it kept moisture off the rest of the bed coverings when our incontinent dog had an accident. The first 5 stars are for how soft and cuddly it is. I washed it and it kept its shape. I live in Florida so the weight is perfect. Great buy.

Hands down this is the one. I was worried about buying it online. And could tell the difference between the 1400 and the 1600. The 1400 was 79 dollars. The 1600 was only 43 bucks. I got a king 1600 and put it on my queen bed Its very soft and comfortable. I am very happy with my purchase.

I do not like how quickly laundry detergent seems to mess up the solid color - I washed this thing one time and it came out with strange marks on there - same as some others have posted in these reviews. Although, I must say...even with the marks on the blanket, I absolutely LOVE this thing! It is SO comfortable, I have been wrapped up inside of this thing every night since I got it...I feel as though it actually helps me sleep better. It is not a winter-time blanket, dont depend on it if your heater isnt working - but if your house maintains steady average temperature, then I HIGHLY recommend this blanket.
