Lydia is a twin and grew up in Prairie. She just lost her job in New York she was a designer for foot wear. She is great at making the perfect fitting boots. She returned home and was shocked to see that Colt has returned.
Colt was kicked out until he got his self together but never returned until his brothers wedding. He is a rodeo man and is trying to become the world champion. He has an image of a wild womaniser. He has a bad past with his mother. But the moment he noticed Lydia he gets feelings he has not experienced before.

Great book but be warned this is not for all readers. There is adult content.

This is another great book in the Flint Hill Cowboy series they just seem to get better and better as the series goes along if you haven't read the series do yourself a favour and start to read them

This is Colton and Lydia's story Colton was a tearaway and his brother threw him out of his home when he was sixteen but he has made it big on the rodeo now he has returned to his home town wanting to receive redemption. Lydia had her boot idea stolen by a larger company so now she is striking out on her own to form her own company where no one can steal her ideas sh offers Colton a deal that will be in both their best interests but when he counter offers will she take the chance on him. See if they both get their HEA and if it ill be together

This was an exceptional book. Each book I have read they keep getting better.
Colton and Lydia are a very different but the chemistry was palpable.

This story was beautiful& so heart felt! Colt is a rodeo rider with a bad reputation of being a bad boy, a ladies man. He comes home to Prairie for the first time in years for his brothers wedding meets up with Lynda the girl who was a kind good girl. Love this book & loved the characters.

Travis had kicked his brother out years ago for not being able to follow the rules, calling it tough love. Colton hit the rodeo trail and has become successful and Travis now wants to reconnect. His lovely bride, Elaine, and his aspirations for the ranch a big part of the why.

Even before we get into the nitty-gritty of this book, I'm in tears. It's Travis' wedding, when Colton shows up.

Okay so I always cry at weddings, but it's here that Lydia and Colton run into each other. Lydia has always been known as the good girl and she so want's to break that mold and the only one she wants is Colton. Only he rejects her, because, in his words, he's an idiot, but he's also a gentleman and Lydia was drinking heavily.

Lydia lost her job in NY now she's contemplating her own boot business. When Colton shows up to see how she's doing after the wedding, he also wants boots.

After a threat from Colton's Sponsors, Lydia agrees to be his fake fiancé and he agrees to invest in her business. Of course this is a dangerous path for both of them since their attraction is off the charts.

Lots happens in this book, it kept me turning the pages and also surprised me a few times.

Love, laughter, family, deception and plenty of heat.

This series is fantastic. The characters grip you from the beginning and you're caught in the storylines. Colt was a misguided teenager who had a rotten childhood. His older brother Travis had enough and kicked him off the ranch when he was 17. A lot of hard years followed until he finally made a name for himself in the rodeo circuit. Travis is getting married, reaches out to him to make amends and Colt ends up coming home to Prairie. He ends up hooking up with Lydia, a woman he's known all of his life. Colt's sponsors want him settled so he starts out with a fake engagement to Lydia until their relationship turns into the real thing. Beautiful story with an awesome ending.

Unbeknownst to me,this was the second book in this series I read.I should have known because it was good from the beginning,but I tend to read by seeing what the book is about,not by authors,which I should start doing as she is a great author.Small town girl falls in love with rodeo man,but can never tell him as he doesn’t believe in love.They end up “fake engaged” to keep the girls off his back,but then it kind of backfires on them.This is a really good read and I’m sure you’ll agree once you read it.
