I had the previous iterations of Teva closed-toe sport sandals; the Teva Wraptor and the Teva Omnium (v1), and they both lasted a long time. So I had high expectations based on those great products. However, the Teva Omnium 2 seems to have reduced build quality. The fit is ok, but it doesn't feel as premium as previous versions of their closed-toe sport sandals, and the cushioning is greatly reduced as compared with those other sandals. It's like Teva cut corners to save on production costs. Overall, these sandals are just meh.
I'll walk around in them for a few more days, but I typically use size 10 and these are very snug and tight. I'm not sure how comfortable they'll be walking around and when they get wet and sandy. Where we're going we'll only have what we bring - which can't be a lot - so I'm a little worried.
I bought these to wear while sailing. I have bought Omniums before and they worked great, but not the new version. They left black marks all over the boat, so now I have to throw them away. I wear an 8.5 EEE shoe. I ordered the size 10, and they fit well. But don't get them for boating.
Comfortable enough, very wide toe box unfortunately, traction is decent when dry however when wet it looses all grip and stability, the synthetic materials dry quite slowly and make them stinky and gross
Third or fourth pair of Omniums I've owned; multiple other Tevas of similar style closed-toe and heel, too. Quality on this pair is down a little from previous. One shoe has a bit of a ragged stitch on one tongue that rubs a hole in my skin. Other shoe rubs my ankle wrong. Oh, well...
