Well this was sexy af. Nothing new and a predictable trope but sometimes that’s just the right book to read. The plot is mostly sex with a bit of storyline thrown in but it’s a good storyline and being an age difference and a hot sexy doctor it had my bases covered.

Greg: Want to go for a midnight swim?
Cassidy: What if I didn’t pack a swimsuit?
Greg: Did you?
Cassidy: Yeah.
Greg: Good it’ll be fun to take it off.

Was it a little bit weird that Greg’s fantasy was to screw Cassidy in the exact same chair he’d watched his son screw her in. Yeah it was but who cares 😆

Hot damn who doesn’t love a silver fox...l sure do and some men just get better with age 🔥🔥🔥 what can I say other than I loved this.

For a short book (under 200 pages) it sure felt like a slug to get through it. That is to say, not much happened for the first 150 pages. Okay that’s not true. The first 150 pages were full of smut which is fine but maybe I’ve just realised that I need a little more than that. Maybe I need my smut to take me to dinner first. Wine me and dine me. Woo me before we get to the down and dirty. This was more of a wam bam thank you mam. Well actually more of a wam bam wam bam wam bam wam bam followed by the thank you mam. This was probably more akin to one of those short adult films that try add a little bit of a story line to sexy time.
Anyway, I paid for the book so I felt like I had to finish it but it didn’t quite hit the spot for me.

The Doctor is sinfully hot

I shouldn't find this story hot, but I do!
Not only is he older than her, he's her ex-boyfriends father!!
But it's so well written that I soon became spellbound & caught up in their passion, their chemistry, his smooth demeanor, & their incredibly hot sex. When they are together the age difference fades away, they are just two people with a connection. But with distance comes doubts & the "what ifs" circulate. People are bound to get hurt, not everyone can forgive, not everyone will accept. But is their connection worth risking it all?

Ever had a doctor fantasy? Well Nikki Sloane took that fantasy and didn’t just turn the heat up on it, she blew the damn thing up! This is a very wicked and erotic taboo story.

Set the scene with a devilishly handsome and charming Doctor Greg Lowe who’s twenty years Cassidy's senior and also her ex boyfriends Daddy. Cassidy is one naughty nineteen-year-old and the Doctor has just the cure!

So there’s a lot of sex in this book. Like a lot, like ¾ of the book a lot. It does not have a deep plot line that has you emotionally connecting yourself to the characters but that’s not what it was meant to be, it is relevant to the genre.

I would rank this on the lighter side of taboo- romance, but it’s sexy, entertaining and HOT! I was literally fanning myself with the pages!

This story was great, it was sexy, face paced and full of fantasies. I'm off to see my Doctor now!

OVERALL
This is not a book for everyone, obviously due to the age gap and taboo aspects, but if you’re not sensitive to these issues and you’re after stimulating and satisfyingly sexy read then this will hit the spot!

This was a good book by this author, I loved all the hot and steamy scenes which is what she is so good at.
I'm not a fan of age gap books but this one was tastefully written and a good job was done.

This author does taboo well. If you've read anything from them you know this. This is very much a character, angst and spice driven book given that it's "I'm now dating my ex's dad" That's the angst. It's obviously forbidden in that aspect too. But for all that, it's still incredibly sweet. Greg and Cassidy like and want each other. A lot. If you like other popular books in this trope, you'll get your fix with The Doctor.

Loved this story because you’ve got to love a good taboo and this certainly delivered. Role playing with the doctor and seeing the difference between a boy and a man. Huge turn on.
But I’m also a sucker for a good HEA and it’s not to say they didn’t get it but she sounded like she wasn’t still struggling to accept the age gap at least when I want them running off into the sun set and time jump a little bigger.

This book is so hot! I love an age gap romance but this is next level taboo. It’s his son’s ex-girlfriend! Yikes! The sex scenes were very well written (and I never thought I’d say this) but I thought there were too many of them and not enough story. Having said that, it’s still a fantastic read with great characters and I loved it.

I enjoy this author's works, she does hot chemistry between the H/h so well, and this was no different. However, the age difference and the reason they even knew each other was a bit... I don't know. Not quite off-putting, but maybe a tad unbelievable. Still, well-written, and I'll always read more by Nikki Sloane.
