Baggy hips

I bought the "Thin Light Grey, Small". The fit wasn't great. For reference, I am 5'6" and 140 pounds and as you can see in my pics they are a baggy in the hips and upper thighs. Maybe I lack junk in my trunk but I just don't need the extra fabric there. I returned them, but wanted to post pics so you could see how they look on a small guy.

TLDR; advertised as waterproof. They are only water resistant. If you need water resistant hiking pants, they seem pretty solid (not field tested).

So, first thing was I tried them on, and they fit fine. Little long in the leg, but that's fine as I'll wear them with boots or whatever and that'll take up that space.

Second thing I did was hold them under the tap. Definitely water resistant (water pools/sheets off). However, when I rubbed the water into the fabric, it soaked in pretty quick. "Waterproof" usually means that water will not seep in for hours, if ever. Water resistant, usually means water will not easily soak in, but it will in a heavy rain or in a submerged setting.

Light weight and comfortable; but

As I state in the title they are light weight and very comfortable. However, the stitching was not completed or simply worked out in one of the front pockets. I don’t carry keys or other sharp objects in my pockets, just a minimalist wallet and change, which was what was sliding down my leg. These would be solid four stars for me if the manufacturing defect was not present, but since it’s costing me an additional amount to have the seamstress repair them it greatly reduces the overall value. I like them enough to have them fixed and would have order additional pairs if I wouldn’t have had this issue.

I live in Chicago and tested out these pants on a few different occasions. Once while kayaking and twice while biking in rain. While kayaking these pants worked perfect didn't get wet at all. While biking in the rain I got soaked twice. The material definitely repels the water but when there's pouring rain it cuts right through them.

I recommend these pants for light rain. Would not label these as "WaterProof"

Weird fit and hardware

I bought these pants thinking that they'd be perfect for my ice fishing and other winter recreating. The shell and lining are of good quality and work well to keep me dry and warm. The issues I've found are the waistband clasp and the overall cut and fit. The clasp is one of those hook and loop style connections, where the hook actually rotates at the anchor point. This makes it challenging to get the hook into the loop, especially with cold fingers. Also, the cut of the pants is strange, and it's hard to explain other than to say they would probably fit someone with a bigger butt than mine. I typically wear Carhart jeans and they fit perfect, so I feel that my body isn't an anomaly.

I bought them for the inexpensive price, and I'd guess you could say I regret it at this point.

Not 100% what I was looking for but they will work for mountain biking. Just beware they are super thin more like wind breaker material. In So Cal it does not to cold so they should work. The thicker ones might be good for colder weather maybe if I go to Skypark during winter months I did buy a little bigger size then listed I am a 34” waist and got a large since I wanted room for knee pads.

I like the look and feel of the pants. They are fleece lined, so no really lightweight. I use them in cold weather driving, camping, outdoor activities. The material held up well for light duty work. I would not trust for heavy duty (chainsaw, etc.)

The drawbacks:
zipper in front and one pocket broke within first 5 wears.
Pockets are REALLY small. Even when opened all the way, I could barely fit my hands in them, and the space in the pockets are small, too. I could not fit my wallet in a front pocket kinda small.

The pants fit true to size, and feature an elastic waistband, flexible movement throughout, and a slim tapered fit.

However, they are absolutely NOT waterproof pants.

I went out in a light rain to test them, and felt some wet spots coming through the leg. Concerned with this, I went and hopped in the shower with them on, and lightly sprayed up and down the entire pant. Water went straight through - particularly in the upper thigh - leaving my legs soaked underneath.

I did see some water heading off, but the amount that was let in through the material was surprising.

I’ll be returning these and continuing to look for actual waterproof pants.

These do that. A lot.

When you're out hiking, you expect peace and quiet. Before the end of a hike, I'd end up ditching them in a bush and possibly get arrested for hiking in my briefs.

Accidentally ripped the tag off while getting them out of the package, so can't return em...but will keep them around for winter I guess to go wandering out in the snow.

These pants are not worth more than $20... even $20 is kind of high.

The Bad:
The belt end is so long it hangs down to almost my knees
The pockets are sown shut about an inch and a half above where they are supposed to be so it's difficult to get your hand in and out of them.
The elastic portion of the wait is rough on my skin as it's really bunched up.
The metal clasp at the waist to close the pants was bent and would not stay shut - every time I bent over my pants would come unbuttoned so to speak.

The Good:
Very lightweight
Stretchy material
Length is OK

I think two stars is generous.
