I am so stoked to have received these today. The TTIO Padded Shorts-3D (size XXL) fit perfectly with placement of foam padding on tailbone, hip and thigh perfectly positioned for maximum protection.
I'm impressed with the quality and for this reason, after I write this review, I will be buying another pair.
I'm a newbie to (quad) skating and glad to have additional protection as I've already fallen once (backward) and these shorts will definitely form part of my protective gear as I continue to learn.
Big thanks to the manufacturer for providing a protective short that is great for entry level while keeping the price accessible for new and beginner skaters.
I'm off to place another order 🤘

Disproportionate Sizing

These shorts are extremely comfortable with just the right amount of stretch while moving and just enough padding, all in the right places. They give about a medium amount of protection.

They fit perfectly in the hip / butt. The problem is the fly and waist band. My waist is 28 inches. I got the Medium.
The chart says they should fit from 26 - 37 inch waists. I measured the waist band including the velcro piece and it's only 26 inches around, maximum! The fly and waist band are way too small, impossible to do up unless you want to
stop breathing. If I went up a couple of sizes the waist might fit but the butt / hip fit would be too big. The sizing chart needs to be adjusted big time. The chart doesn't even come close to being a general sizing guideline, it's way off.

Took up skating again my dad for something to do during COVID. I used to play Ringette but it had been 20 years. I didn’t want full hockey equipment I mainly wanted to protect my tailbone. These were extra light, comfy and support when I fell. I wore leggings over them and they didn’t feel too bulky. Great for us girls but also for guys.
