This unit has been quite a disappointment. In terms of power, it's not as good as my Ryobi Plus One which uses a similar line diameter. The line the unit came with is garbage, after five breaks where the end was welded to the line remaining in the spoil, I unwound it and threw it away. A large hank of Saxon line I had on hand worked somewhat better. The spool is rather small in diameter and therefore has reduced capacity. The wheels which turn this into an edger are tiny and wobbly, and as an edger, it struggles with some of the tougher grasses in my yard, including kikuyu.
The charger is also tiny, taking ages to charge the batteries. About the only positive is that the batteries are the same as what my Worx drill/driver pair take (not always a given with Worx) and I can use the far better charger that came with that set. The "instructions" leave a bit to be desired, typically with Chinese-made products, one gets a couple of pages of cartoons, basically. If you want an edger, buy a specialist edger, if you need a whippersnipper, there are better products around.
