It has 3 angle settings.. none of them is flat.

It is flimsy as expected for the price. But it is enough for the job required. The paint coating scratches off just from its own clips and sliding together when you assemble it. The bit that holds up the table isnt a symmetrical shape, it does work but it is too long so the flattest setting is about 5° leaning away from you. But luckily that supporting.. wire i guess.. is pretty easy to bend.. so with a little force you can give it a bowed shape so that the tabletop is flat. It is strong enough to still hold up the table still once its a bit bent.
The height option are good for sofa sitting. It is very liht and easy to move and the poles it has at floor level are thin enough to fit even my almost on the ground sofa.
The plastic moulded tray top, is bendy if you lean on the corners.. which stops you leaning you elbows on it so you wont accidently apply too much force to it.
It holds my wacom screen just fine.. probably could take something a bit heavier too. It slides back under my taller desk easily too.
So it is pretty cheap and nasty.. as i expected for the price. But it also is perfect for what i needed it to do. So I am happy with it.
