Finally a conclusion to the history of this fantasy world

There is only so much one can take about the behaviours of sleepwalkers, despots, magic and gory war, so this being the final season was well-timed. No doubt like actual history with its cycle of benevolent rulers replaced by depots our fantasy world would continue to produce the same type of heroes and villains in the kingdoms because we never learn from history. I now have the complete series on BluRay and they now await my next viewing sometime into the future.

Only bought this to complete the series. Totally ridiculous, stupid way to finish what promised to be *the* best series ever. Showrunners should be shot for producing this rubbish; to my mind GoT jumped the shark when Jon snow was killed off. Seasons 7 and 8 were just woeful when you look back at the rich story lines of seasons 1-4. I've since read the re-imagining by Alice Shipwise; pity she wasn't the showrunner, her version is immeasurably better and shows what was possible.

Well done Amazon GOT season 8 was received in perfect condition and well before it was available in retail outlets. As for the show it completely surpassed my expectations both in the complexity of character development and high standard of production. The series warrants multiple viewings just to get your head around the detail and some of the more subtle nuances that were missed on the first viewing. My only problem now is where to from here now that the series is wound up.

The production is excellent. The script writers could have done a lot better; the story line is no where near as good the rest of the series. The actors remained superb but the finish of the saga is a bit of an anticlimax.
