Site claims this is a 100% natural cleaner And has a wrong ingredient lists when the item arrived I immediately noticed the smell. I am extremely sensitive to chemical fragrances and get very sick. Check the back and it lists parfum. This was not mentioned on the site at all.
This product was recommended to me by a friend and I REALLY needed something to deal with the build-up of grime that really wouldn't shift, despite using various other well known brands.
Firstly, I will say, cleaning wise, this did do very well - even though the oven had been cleaned two days before by another well known brand, there was still the smell of burning oil/fat when the oven was on. This got rid of stuff I couldn't even see. To use, the smell wasn't horrific (again, unlike others), but my big problem with this stuff was that despite following the instructions, the strong (yet not offensive) smell of whatever is in it just wouldn't go away, despite cleaning out time and time again.
After several days of cleaning the already cleaned oven after using this and heating the oven over and over, the house still reeked of the smell of this stuff and any food cooked in it, tasted of it.
I think I would have preferred the smoking oil smell than what I ended up with. I can see I'm in the minority here and don't know why it should have ended up like it did (I followed instructions), but it resulted in us having to buy a new oven, rather than having to eat florally/chemically tasting food!
Cleaning power = fantastic Ability to render food inedible due to lingering longlasting smell = horrific
Expected ‘miracles’, turns out it does nothing more than some ordinary washing up liquid and the smell is really strong. Don’t introduce such unsafe synthetic chemicals into your household for the sake of it, good old fairy liquid and some white vinegar will do.
The spray version of pink stuff does not smell very good . It works OK on stainless steel but that's about it. Other cleaning products can do a better job, or clean equally well but smell better. This pink spay is just OK for general purpose cleaning. The main turn off is how it smells. Do not expect fresh scent or that the area that you clean will be left smelling fresh and clean.
