Great for the professional and non professional like myself. Bought this to cut wigs. Sharp and efficient scissors. The kit is great. The hair clips could be bigger but they’re ok and the smock could be longer at the back. Otherwise completely happy with my purchase.
I got this product a few days ago. It all came in a pouch bag. Clips are made of light metal which are too slippery for my liking. They keep falling off my head, probably need teeth to hold on to hair. Scissors are not dull as many have said in their reviews. I was kind of surprised how well it cut hair. The combs are made of plastic which were okay
. The comb with blade can be opened up so you can change the blades. The cape was disappointing though. It can be secured with a velcro, however it can only cover all the front and just a part of the back. It could have been made longer and wider. If you are looking for something cheap but does the job, this set is not a bad choice.
I found the scissors blunt and it took forever to cut my daughters hair and it is not overly thick. I will be buying scissors from the chemist to replace these scissors in the pack. You get what you paid for.
My first order got lost. Fair play to the vendor, they sent us a replacement. I think i payed a bit over the odds for what i got. The cape and combs are like toys. First impression of the scissors was meh. But having used them once or twice they work pretty well. They are weighty, but i do like holding them. No microserated edges, so they would suit the slicing-in technique or the terriers (thats dogs, not a cutting technique).
These are not great quality. The rubber finger inserts come out easily and often while using; the edges of the scissors are rough and scratchy (not the cutting edge but the other one); the case is too small to properly hold all the components. The worst part is the cape, which is shaped like a rectangle with the head hole at the top so it doesn’t actually cover the shoulders but hangs like a giant bib. Disappointing. The scissors cut hair so at least that part works.
