Great mouse but it's not a gaming mouse
Reviewed in Australia on 27 May 2020
I have bought 3-4 mice in the last 2 years trying to find the best one. I am an avid gamer and have tried the logitech G502 and the Corsair Dark core SE both are flagship products of these companies and you know what? They both suck!
This mouse is better than both of them, although not an a conventional shape it feels good in the hand. The weight feels balanced and it just works.
I would constantly have to wake the Darkcore SE to use it, which was annoying. The battery never lasted. I was just constantly trying to fix comms issues with it. I won't go in to the full list problems I had with it
The Logitech 502 just broke after 2 months. The scroll wheel no longer worked.
These are very expensive flagship products and they're terrible.
The MX master is great! It just works and feels great and is much cheaper than the other 2. However it's not great for gaming (but it's fine) and I find that it doesn't slide as well on the mouse pad as the other mice. I wish they added gamer settings to the mouse like DPI settings instead of low/high sensitivity. Doesn't need RGB.
The scroll wheel is a little unresponsive at times. Oh and it's very smooth so cleaning is very easy too. No crevices for gunk to hide which is notorious in gaming mice. chargers via USB-C like everything should do. Great battery life
I would buy again.
