5.0 out of 5 stars Emotional roller coaster, that is me reading this book.
Reviewed in Australia on 4 March 2021
I knew going into this book that it was going to pull at my heart strings and boy did it ever.

Scrap and Krista are made for each other.

What happened 10 years ago is devastating but they both survived and I feel like this book it about them both not just being survivors but learning to live again.

It’s not often a book leaves me speechless and pulls at my heart strings the way this book did, they way these characters did or how much support they got from everyone around them to helping them heal.

I freaking loved this story. That is all.

Would I recommend this book? Hell yes! Just grab your tissues.

4.0 out of 5 stars A sweet story
Reviewed in Australia on 21 November 2019
Scrap is a really sweet and often times a difficult story to read, mainly due to what the characters have been through. Scrap Allenbach is a legend in the Steel Bones MC after spending ten years in jail after being a vigilante hero for Crista Holt. Crista has been through the worst thing imaginable and she is still struggling with living her life and being her best self. Everything changes when Scrap is released from prison, but is Crista strong enough to handle what Scrap wants to give her?

This was a beautifully written story about tragedy, PDST and sheer perseverance from both characters. Scrap was a wonderful character to read about and you could see how much he cared for Crista and just loved her for so long, even with her scars. Crista’s story was heart-breaking as was (I feel) the lack of understanding and how the rest of the MC family treated her, apart from her sister. It seemed as though even though Crista had suffered something horrific, they just wanted her to deal with it and move on even though she seemed to have daily reminders of what had happened to her.

The chemistry between the two was wonderful and the slow burn and honesty that both characters had about their relationship was refreshing. You feel the emotion, pain and even happiness that these characters feel and are going through with each page that you turn. This is definitely a must read for all MC fans.

ARC received for a fair and honest review.

Crista grew up in the club life and at 16 she was enamored by the biker who would pick her up after band practice to bring her back home. For their age difference she figured that it was totally one sided because Scrap would never have any interest in her. Scrap wasn't stupid though because he knew he couldn't let on that he did have an interest in Crista because her dad would never let that fly.

Then one life changing day happened and Crista would never be the same again. There are no words for what happened to her and Scrap did what he needed to do to bring justice to what happened to her. Years later and Scrap is shocked at the kind of life Crista has lived since he's been gone. He wants to get her to living a more "normal" life...hopefully including him in it.

I loved this MC read and the characters that were created. It was the kind of book that drew me in and had made me feel fully invested in it. This is a new author that I will be following from here on out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved the book.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Once I started I could not get enough from start to finish. You get emotional reading what happened to Crista, she had a really bad life at sixteen yrs old the club was the only life she new until something happened that changed the life of Crista and Scrap they both really liked each other, Scrape went to jail. Ten yrs later Scrap gets released from jail and now it is time to claim Crista. The action, the depression, the tragedy, heartache, and a lot more emotions that run wild.
Thank you for you allowing me to review your book.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This hooks you in from the start.
Angsty but not too much. Just enough. The emotions fairly jump at you & you cant put it down.
This story just flows & makes you cheer in your head for it all to come together just how you want.
Well worth the read.
An author to keep up with thats for sure.

How I hate finishing the last book of a new author that I just found recently, fell in love with and read every single book of . Now I'll be waiting months on months for another release;(
This one was the last one. Thought it would be the worst and it was, out of all of the books of ghost author I liked this one the least and it still deserves 5 stars . I love when the weakest link its not weak at all

Didn't really enjoy that. I had a really good feeling but it fizzled out. Can I ask what Harper's problem is as her bitchy attitude and touching what isn't hers is annoying!
