If you want headphones for your Quest I would highly recommended these. With short, dedicated left/right cords they dont get in the way or tangle when putting on and taking off your headset, yet are long enough to easily fit any size head.
Sound quality is very impressive for earphones at this price point with terrific base. The difference to the stock audio is immediately, especially noticeable in shooting games like Pistol Whip where each shot gives a very solid BOOM!
Some audiophiles many find them to be too bass heavy, but IMHO they are an excellent addition for any Quest 1 user.
The sound isn't the best but its fairly decent. Usually have trouble keeping these types of earphones in the ear but managed to place it in a way keeps them in. Cable could be slightly shorter for my head anyway but doesn't get in the way.
Have used these for about 3 weeks and wanted to wait for a bit before reviewing. Overall I am very satisfied with these for their price and availability for custom earbuds for my Quest 1. I always believed that the Quest 1's built-in sound using invisible headstrap speakers was always decent for what it was. But I was getting tired of the tangle and occasional snag using my Apple wired earpods when I wanted better sound, and wanted to try these Kiwi ones out. I have zero complaints on the sound quality, they don't sound like cheap earbuds at all, they sound very good. Bass is good and deep, and highs are nice and clear. Maybe the mids are a little flat? Overall they have just a decent neutral sound that is better than the headstrap speakers, better than I was expecting and perform great across games and media. I am sometimes noticing a background hiss when there is silence but I think that might be a Quest fault. My only minor complaint is comfort. They are described as having silicone tips but they don't feel like silicone tips to me, they feel like smooth plastic and not rubber. My go-to for comparison here is PSVR (mark 2) built in earbuds and AirPods Pro. Both of those have really nice grippy (true silicone?) tips. I have shallow ear canals so this tip type is important for me, I have to use EarSkinz on the wired EarPods or they will fall out. So with these smoother Kiwi ear tips they don't feel as grippy even using the largest size, and with the stiffer cable and large driver unit they feel like they tilt where they want to and could move around. That being said, they have not come loose or popped out even doing more intense activity, and they do feel comfortable if a little too smooth for my liking and so a bit cheap feeling. Maybe this is where the cost saving is. If I lost or broke these by accident I would buy again without thinking twice and would easily recommend for Quest 1 users who want to try them out.
Amazingly, the sound quality via that is noticeably worse than the built-in speakers. It confers the noise of the internal power converters!!! Admittedly, this is a problem with the Oculus' ADC, but since this is sold as a dedicated accessory, it rightfully receives flak. There is nothing premium about this product. basic in-ear headphones that you would often get for free with other things. The price tag is just not representative of what you get. As to the positives -- OK, the bass level is better than the mini-speakers, it also gives a bit of privacy as the sound doesn't spill -- if that's what you are looking for.
Not sure what i am going to use these for now as I thought they would work on Rift S. well that only has one headphone output socket!! i have tested these and they are built with nice strong chunky wires with metal construction and colour coding for headset. I do wish they had worked on my headset but even with an adaptor I would only get mono output. If your using them for the designed reason they are going to be awesome. I will keep these packed away for maybe a future use. Who knows when I will need a short single earpiece
