The product is made from quality materials, has a long battery life, and it feels durable, that’s pretty much the only redeeming qualities. Where it falls short is it’s functionality. It just doesn’t do it’s job consistently enough to warrant the price. The Go-Tcha Evolve should have been tested longer before it was released. It constantly disconnects from my phone (iPhone XR that’s less than a year old), it will reconnect when I press the button on it and the sync button in game, but it’s so temperamental about it. I’ve had it stay connected for hours, and I’ve also had it disconnect several times within an hour. It’s far too inconsistent for me and I’ll be searching for a better option if it doesn’t improve. So far, it’s gotten worse every day since I’ve received it. The features it offers are wonderful, if only I could utilize them to their fullest potential. But it just falls short. I really wanted this to be a 5-star wonderful rave review, but it can’t be.

I thought this product was good, but now not a fan. Got my evolve replacement, then a few weeks later I had it fully charged, then 5 minutes later it was dead. Fortunately it happened 2 days before my Amazon return window had closed. Oddly enough, Amazon is usually quick on my refunds, it has now been 13 days since I've returned it without refund posted.

I would definitely recommend getting the warranty if you do decide to get one!! I bought one and received it may 24th 2020. It is currently June 1st 2020 an let me tell you, it has great potential but as is it's very flawed! I think it's over priced! The vibration stopped working a week in, It disconnects constantly, sometimes it won't connect at all ( you have to completely shut down the app and reload it or restart the phone to get the connection faster to work), seeing the screen is difficult on really sunny days, as far as spinning stops its hit or miss for me( sometimes it's easier to just spin it yourself, it prioritizes stops over pokemon, it will only use the regular pokeballs meaning the catch to ran away rate is awful. Positives: you can use the app and have the go-chta running in the background, it's great for driving and playing in the background( I use my gps a lot while driving and I have the go-chta running in the background. It's nice to fill in that time with playing, if you're in a very active area or during certain events it helps with accomplishing tasks. I read all the pros and cons and decided because the reviews were so mixed I'd buy to try myself. I dont love it as is but it's okay depending on how you play. I like it to get all the pokemon I can and spin stops, not to seriously play. Just an added bonus and help me level up.

Difficult to charge

This thing is amazing but the charging usb stick it has is horrible. The thing barely sticks out and because of the watch design, it's covered by a plastic overhang that prevents it from going into charging bricks. You need a usb extension or very thin charging brick to charge it. Also if the usb slot you're trying to put it into is loose or too wide by any small variation, it'll just fall out.

Battery and charging issues

Battery goes from 0% to 60% in literally under 1 minute. Stopped charging when it reached 73%. Then the battery ran down back to 0% within 30 minutes (or less, I wasn't really paying attention). I've tried charging with both an RAVpower battery (doesn't really work to charge because of the shape of the USB dongle on the device but you can make it work if you fold the band under the battery to hold the battery up at an angle) and also an Anker power block.

It was a bit glitchy the two days I had it working, disconnects from the app or wouldn’t connect unless I restarted my phone, but was useable the first two days.
