Game changer for babys' room!

Rarely leave reviews but hope this might help other parents with babies.... This light has been a game changer for getting our 6 week old newborn to stay asleep. The 7w e14 screw energy saver was so bright on the bedside lamp we were covering the lamp shade with clothing to darken it for a night light. This lamp instead allows us to alter the light levels of the room without being in there. The installation instructions are relatively intuitive and had the lamp set up in about 20 minutes with the app installed on my Samsung S8+. Haven't connected to any home hubs yet as none in that room.
So far no issues with hardware or software and only regret not getting this sooner!

Super dim with colors

I bought this expecting to have a usable red light for my room at night.
Its super bright on "white" mode, but as soon as you put it on color mode, the brightness gets dimmed to around 20% of what it was. Its barely usable for reading or anything like that.
I dont know why, because the hardware is clearly capable of bright light, but the software limits the colored light severely and makes this very impractical for night-time eyesight.

Great little bulbs at a very good price. Connected to dual band WiFi easily, I sometimes have to tinker with my router to get 2.4 GHz devices to connect. The app is tuya based, so you know what to expect, and bulbs will work with any other tuya based app.

They work just as well as my expensive smart bulbs but the installation process almost made me tear my hair out. I had to use YouTube videos and problem solve myself as instructions are hopeless. Had to reset every single bulb to get them to flash (switch on and off 4 times but slowly!).
They still didn’t connect to my Telstra wifi, turns out I had to open my wifi modem setting and disable 5ghz so The bulbs only recognised the 2.4ghz. More expensive bulbs did this on their own.

Bulbs are great now they’re connected. Easy to connect to google home. The colours are great. Brightness of the E14 bulb is not very bright when using colours.

Is not what I was expecting

Bulb doesn't respond to Alexa, she keeps telling me it is not available. When i reboot it, it does respond although it is slow like a 10-15 second delay.
Definately better experience with the smart plug I seem to have 0 problems with that.
If someone happens to have insite how to fix this I'd be greatful.

This was my first smart lightbulb and I got as a bit of a test. I was very impressed with the packaging, the build quality and the value for money. It was easy to set up and works great. I’m not sure if it’s the same for all RGB bulbs, this one is very bright on the white light setting, however not so much on the other Colours, but still very effective. Great product.

Almost impossible to install and even when they are installed they barely work to the schedule you can select. No wonder they were so cheap!! It’s either pitch black or like a disco because they go on and off all the time. Wouldn’t buy again
