5.0 out of 5 starsThe noise cancellation is not so good however everything else is amazing!
Reviewed in Australia on 16 August 2021
I bought these buds earlier this year. It was a very good purchase! If you are looking for a cheap selection for wireless earbuds I highly recommend to buy these galaxy buds. The ambient mode is very good. The battery life is also very good (about 11 hours I think) I highly recommend to buy these buds!

2.0 out of 5 starsConectivity Issues, Especially with Apple Products (iPhone, iPad, etc.)

Will not stay connected to device! Also, bass is weak and earphone generally cannot get very loud even at max volume. They fit well and look great but all in all, not my favourite wireless earphones.

2.0 out of 5 stars Tips falling out inside ear, overly sensitive touch controls = regrettable + dangerous purchase
Reviewed in the United States on 17 March 2021
Verified Purchase
The speaker on one side failed after about 5 months of light use (average 3 hours per week). Warranty support was a hassle to get, but was able to get a replacement after waiting 2 weeks during which time I had no ear buds.

Sound quality and battery life are fine. But the worst parts are that the silicone tips have fallen out in my ear, getting stuck, twice. Fortunately, a friend was nearby both times and used tweezers to remove them. But it could easily have gotten stuck deeper and then might need a trip to the emergency room. Or imagine if it happened on a flight or something. Terrible.

The other really annoying thing about these ear buds is that even though the touch control is good, it's super sensitive such that I often accidentally hang up on someone or mute the phone just by adjusting them in my ear during a call. Super annoying, especially when I'm on hold or it's an important call and I feel the buds falling out of my ear in the middle.

I really regret buying these, but I feel like it's not enough to make me buy a different pair. Will for sure switch quickly when a new generation if a different brand comes out.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not great for sleep assistance.
Reviewed in the United States on 8 March 2021

I've been using these for a couple weeks and overall, not terribly happy with them, but feel like it would be wrong to send them back now.
For the sound quality, I think the price should be about half of what it is. I've had $10 earbuds that sounded better. The sound is thin and lacking bass of any kind. The app that controls these earbuds provides some rather basic and lackluster EQ adjustments. None of which really provides any quality alteration of the sound.
The earbuds themselves, not terribly comfortable. I got these primarily to use at night since I have trouble sleeping without some sort of sound or music or whatever. These are definitely not earbuds that can be used if you're a side sleeper. I generally sleep on my right side, so I've had to resort to only using the left earbud. Not a great solution.
I might have to go back to my $10 earbuds, I hate having the wires, but at least I could sleep with them and they sound better.

2.0 out of 5 stars Sound "tinny" compared to AirPods Pro
Reviewed in the United States on 17 February 2021

Based on other reviews, I opted for the Galaxy Buds+ over the Buds Pro. Supposedly the sound and fit were better. I did not have setup problems like a lot of other iPhone users said they had (you need to connect with Bluetooth Connections on phone before connecting to the Galaxy Buds app from the App Store). The fit was wonderful; like they weren't even there. And they stayed put during heavy exercise.

The big problem is the sound quality. I tested all of the equalizer options in the app (Normal, Treble, Bass, Clear, Dynamic, ...) but they all sounded very tin-ny. Even on Bass setting they had nothing to offer. I did a side by side with my wife's AirPod Pros, and heard the extra $100 immediately. It was no contest. Now I'm returning the Buds+ and am going to spring for the extra cash and get AirPods Pro. I don't have any confidence based on other reviews that the Buds Pro will be any better. And that's too bad, because I liked the idea of not being locked into the Apple universe.

2.0 out of 5 stars Low "max" volume
Reviewed in the United States on 4 March 2021

I have a New Samsung S21 and despite hours of troubleshooting, no fix. The sound quality is good but the max volume was more like 60 to 70% volume on other devices I've used in the past. Anything below 40% was barely audible. The "charging box" light never turned green despite over 24hrs of charging... steady red. I wonder if I got a stale pair of buds and the batteries are just old? There are all sorts of complaints on the web about this with many suggestions to fix.
I tried each of the different of bud size attachments, no luck. Many of phone software setting tweaks online refer to older phones... Media Sync (don't have that option on S21), manually set bud volume didn't work as it was automatically sync'd to phone volume.
I'm disappointed as I purposely purchased a Samsung earbud product hoping for a seamless integration with a Samsung phone- not so. Return it

2.0 out of 5 stars Quality control

This is a fantastic product when it works.
Pros: The battery life is amazing, the sound quality is outstanding for calls, very good for music but bass was not that great.
Cons: Bought in October, failed in December, right bud died. Samsung replaced it for free (excellent customer support), two weeks later a new pair arrived, two weeks later after using 10 times; left bud failed. would occasionally work well, but sometimes would give an error (battery at 1%) and won't connect. Again, Samsung offered a replacement, but I did not like the idea of waiting 2-3 weeks to get a replacement that is likely to fail as well. Amazon accepted return. I would love nothing more than to own these buds if they were more reliable, but they obviously cut corners on quality control.

2.0 out of 5 stars These WILL not stay in my ears
Reviewed in the United States on 31 March 2021

I like them but I can't get them to stay in my ears. I have tried all of the little pieces that they come with to adjust the size. I turn them off all the time when I am making a phone call because I keep having to readjust them so they don't fall out of my ear. I hate leaving bad reviews but I really dislike these :(

2.0 out of 5 stars They're great! At first...
Reviewed in the United States on 12 February 2021

They were AMAZING... At first. I've had 2 pairs of these in the last 4 months and both of them have done the exact same thing! Sound quality quickly deteriorates in one or both buds. Out of no where, I could barely hear anything coming from it with the volume at max on everything. Samsung and Amazon support recommended I get a replacement, which I did. One of the ear buds quickly had the same thing happen within 2 weeks of getting the new pair. I only ever use one so I figured I'd use the other. All was fine until today. Same thing happened, again. I clean them after every use. I've tried literally everything with no solution to the problem. They sound and feel nice, but I will look elsewhere.

2.0 out of 5 stars Awful audio balance between earbuds
Reviewed in the United States on 19 April 2021

I am very disappointed in the sound volume quality of these earbuds. First the right ear volume is sig significantly lower than the left ear. And it has only been getting worse over the months. Is gotten so bad the right are wisper quiet when the left side is a comfortable volume effectvly makibg them useless. Second issue is that I have to crank the volume to near max, again, just to have it a good listening volume.
