Simple to setup and long!

These lights arrived quickly and were super simple to setup.

The lights are really bright and the whole kit seems to be well manufactured. The Power supply was an Australian plug which was helpful.

You can use the infra red remote control the lights or download the app to control them over Bluetooth. It took about a minute for the Bluetooth device to show up.

There are two lengths of LED strip so the LED driver is in the middle. Wires can be cut and joined with connectors (not included) or soldered although I have not cut mine yet.

The backing tape is generic double-sided tape and not 3M. I am not installing the lights permanently yet so have not tried the adhesion out but there is extra tape and some fasteners in the kit which help secure the cables - something I have never seen in a light kit before.

All the lights change colours together (and don't run patterns down the length of the light strip). The LED driver can listen to music and change with the beat or your phone can play music and change the lights to the beat.

All in all, the lights are quality and simple to setup and do recommend them.

This product should be recalled after exploding in our daughters bedroom

This product exploded with considerable force that spread burnt black plastic across my daughters entire bedroom. Had we not been home there is every chance that our house would have burnt down. This product needs to be urgently recalled.

The product lives up to our expectation, the control panel seems a bit flimsy but is OK. It lives up to the expectation. The company send a lottery ticket along promissing that we had won a 1st prize, which was an additional LED Strip. This is, of course, very pleasing. Through communication with the company, it became clear that one would only receive the prize if one wrote a superb review of the product. This will explain the high ratings for this product, which also was our initial motivation for selecting this one.
I thought that Amazon would do something to prevent such tactics.

We have nothing to complain about in terms of the product but the sales strategy of this company ought to be re-considered. It is blind-folding of the consumer.

Great having the 2x10 meter reels that in our case went two directions around the ceiling cornice and met on the other side. So no obvious break in the led spacing which was good as the strips are all visible in our installation. You can join the strips so it’s one continuous 20M strip but the join will cause a ~20 cm gap in the leds.

The reason for only 3 stars is the adhesive and unclear instructions. As someone else mentions these strips have what seems like a plastic backing. That backing is meant to come off but unlike a wax backing its really sticks to the strip. More adhesive comes off and stays on the plastic backing than stays on the leds strips making the leds hard to install. Thankfully there’s double sided foam tape which did come with it. We had to cut and place 1cm tape pieces every 10cms on the strips, in our case it was absolutely necessary to have any chance of sticking. Fingers crossed I hope it survives the 40 degree summer days as it was a pain to get up but worth it in the end.

Great lights, remote and Bluetooth also the app works fantastic. Kids love them. Only negative is that I bought 2 sets, and one of the sets had less stuff than the other set, it was missing pieces that the other set had, also when the strip was pulled off the back, it pulled the adhesive glue off with it, so wouldn't stick. Because it was missing the double sided tape, we had to use the tape from the other box, as well as connectors. I will be needing to purchase these missing pieces.
Other than that, works great. Excellent product, for price.

Bought this product once already and bought again but this time I'm disappointed that the amount of LED's were halved if not more and the distance between 2 cutting points to cut them were greatly increased making it ALOT harder to customise to my liking.
