Loved it till Alex showed up.

OK I'm just going to say it. I hate Alex. Always have, right from the start. Could never understand why she was ever needed in this series. She wasn't at school with them or living in Thunder Bay. None of the boys would be her love interest. She was just an annoying sex fiend who was always touching the girls and having sex with anything that moved, oh and that was her job as well! Sex. Oh and don't forget her backstory for heartbreak! Are you kidding me. Of course she was having sex as usual with her room-mate while wanting her boyfriend. Yeh a true Viking among woman. Not.
I was loving Will and Emorys story until Alex showed up. I never want my leads having sex with others but damn I wanted Emory to do Ayden in front of Alex and Will. That's how much they were p@##@n me off.
Aydens comment about Will and Alex was so true. Will had indulged with her for years and had her company and Emory had been alone. Yet he carried on like he had nothing. She deserved to make them jealous , as they were making her feel it.
Alex completely hampered their growth in Blackchurch and took over so much of their story. She ruined it for me. And just to make it worse ( there is always a kink scene in these books, guess who got to star in it) ? Yep and it was ridiculous. They should have never come together those two. The others at least made sense in the previous books but this one absolutely did not. I wanted Emory to strip of those clothes and leave that room naked, head held high. They were all being such pigs to her. Also, another gripe, Will and her took far too long to get it together. I was beginning to think they just couldn't get past it. Well Will couldn't and when they finally did their story took a back seat to wrapping up the series. Such a shame because it started with so much potential. I loved their struggle at school.
I really enjoyed this series (Alex aside) oh and Damon is just hilarious at times in this and he and Emory have some great interactions, I love this author too but unfortunately this one didn't reach its potential.
