This bed looks amazing. My daughter loves it and has made her room the envy of her friends and siblings. The gas lift is solid and secure but maybe a little more cross bracing would make it feel more sturdy when closing it but that is jsut a "Feeling".
---EDIT: I originally gave this review 4 stars becasue I thought there was no Dimmer on the lights and it made for a very bright room when you might want a nice subtle glow instead. I worked out that the dimmer is there, but only for solid colours. Any flash or transition settings does not have the dimmer function. This is fine as you really dont want flashing lights when youa re trying to sleep! :)
